Michelle Bross, PartnerMichelle Bross serves as a managing partner of STLapartments and has been in the property management business since 1997. Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Westminster College, and a Master of Social Work from Washington University. Michelle is a wife, a mother of 3 wonderful children, an aspiring triathlete, and an advocate of life, love, and learning. Michelle enjoys camping and road tripping, reading, biking, running, and skiing. Michelle’s personal mission is love and peace in all things and you will find that reflected in her business practices. The staff and residents are drawn to her warm personality and effervescent energy. She carries a big compass to keep the team on course, and is dedicated to the delivery of Residents First, always.

Steve Bross serves as a managing partner of STLapartments. Steve graduated Summa Cum Laude from Saint Louis University with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. Steve began his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen. He has been controller of two privately held companies, and manages the STLapartments real estate portfolio. Steve enjoys fishing and skiing, and his new passion, cooking. Steve leads the company with trust and integrity, and he is committed to growth through discipline and determination.

James McMillen, Operations ManagerJames McMillen serves as Operations Manager of STLapartments and has been in the property management field for over 10 years. He joined the team shortly after graduating from the University of Central Missouri in 1999 with a BS in Criminal Justice and a MS in Industrial Safety Management. He has also done extensive studies in environmental hazards as it pertains to residential dwellings. To better serve the communities that we represent, James is a member of the both the Grand Tower Grove Betterment Committee and the DeBaliviere Pershing Association. James enjoys spending time with his wife and son. They take great interest in adventure races and being outdoors – biking, hiking, water skiing, and snowboarding.

Rang Van Tran has been serving the residents of The Saum for 30 years. Originally from Vietnam, working as maintenance technician at The Saum was his first job in the United States. Rang has also owned his own bicycle shop, laundromat, and investment property over the years. 2009 marked Rang’s retirement from The Saum. We are so pleased that Rang will continue to work part-time with STLapartments. Rang is a treasured asset to the company and friend to the residents. Rang is a former body builder, and continues to workout daily. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Brenda Shuler serves as accountant for STLapartments. Brenda multi-tasks accounts payable and receivables, and vendor and resident relations. Born and raised in the metro St. Louis area, Brenda loves the downtown area and all the entertainments and history it as to offer. Brenda is a true Cardinals and Blues fan, and loves attending the games. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her sons and friends.

Andee Barnes is the Resident Manager for STLapartments.  Andee comes to us from southern Illinois. She is working towards a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology at the University of Missouri – St. Louis, and plans to eventually earn a law degree. Andee enjoys spending time with her dogs, attending concerts, and shopping. Meeting new and interesting people is Andee’s favorite part of working at STLapartments. She prides herself in building relationships and doing everything possible to ensure residents are proud to call STLapartments home.

Andrea Stephans is the Leasing Manager for Central West End.  She hales from St. Louis, with a short stint in Columbia, where she received a Communications Degree, and Chicago, where she just had some fun.  Andrea lives in the Demun neighborhood with her Golden Retriever, and plays recreational volleyball and softball. 

Keena Alexander is our Leasing Manager for Midtown.  She was born and raised in St. Louis, and lives in the fun, eclectic University City with her husband, one-year old daughter, and boxer.  Keena served in the U.S. Army for 8 years and is an Iraq Veteran.  She graduated from University of Missouri St. Louis with a Fine Arts in Communication.  Outside of work and family, she is a big hip hop fan, especially local hip hop, and a style gabber.

Tom Marsh is all about service at the Hutcheson Arms, and brings 30 years experience to us. Tom provides quick attention to service calls and quality, care-free homes to our residents. The Residents are drawn to Tom’s good-natured sense of humor and easy-going spirit. Tom is a Vietnam Veteran and an avid Cardinal fan.  He enjoys playing golf, and his 5 grandchildren have won his heart.

Carl Morrow is a Service Technician in the Central West End. Carl’s workmanship and attention to detail make him ideal to meet all your service needs. He graduated from North County Technical High School, and has over 10 years experience. Carl loves sports of all kinds.

Martin Alcala makes The Saum his second home. The residents are immediately attracted to his smile and genuine manners. Martin is a  Coast Guard Veteran and worked offshore as a mate for 7 years. Martin has a lovely wife, 2 children, and a hunting dog. Martin is an outdoor enthusiast – fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, and hunting, especially duck and goose hunting.
